Description — This is a photograph of Presidio County Courthouse in Marfa, Texas. It was taken in February 2011, in late afternoon.
Camera Nerd Info — Fuji GA645zi medium format camera, Fuji Provia 100F film, focal length and exposure settings unknown.
Commentary — This pretty courthouse is in Marfa, a town in west Texas that has an economy based upon cattle ranching and more recently has become an art center. The Fuji GA645 is an all-in-one film camera with a titanium housing and a lens that will focus in four distinct focal lengths. The 6×45 frame is vertical. It will imprint exposure data along the edge of the film, but unfortunately I neglected to turn this on for this roll of film. I think this would make a great digital camera if Fujifilm still has the tooling to make it; just put a 645 sensor in it instead of a film back. I guess it would cost a fortune, though. Too bad.
