Description — This is a field of daffodils grown west of Mount Vernon, Washington. It was photographed on April 20, 2009.
Camera Nerd Info — Fujinon GA645zi medium-format camera, Fuji Provia 100F film, exposure 1/3s @ f/38.
Commentary — I found this field of daffodils while driving around looking at the tulip fields nearby. Fields of flowers are easier to photograph with a medium-format camera than with a large format camera, but you still have to account for the flowers’ wiggling. The Fuji 645zi has a built-in lens that will set in one of four focal lengths. It will also imprint exposure data along the border of the film if I remember to turn this feature on. I did so on this day.
