Commentary — This viewpoint in Canyonlands National Park overlooks the Green River in the distance. The bush in the foreground is 2000 feet higher in elevation than the river. At this location I noticed that at the moment the sun goes down a slight breeze kicks up. I guess when the sun stops shining on the surrounding rocks it changes the air convection pattern. The effect is immediate, and it interferes with photographing the bush in the foreground, as it moves in the breeze.
